I have been with Ross for over 8 years. During that time my workouts have changed as my body has changed. What I value the most about Ross, as a personal trainer, is his ability to assess my body’s current physical condition and tailor my workout to meet my needs.
I have had three different operations over the last few years and Ross has been instrumental in my recovery process. If I have been in physical therapy, Ross has worked with my therapists to create exercises that support their goals for me. I have started numerous workouts where I have been in some type of discomfort, only to feel pain-free at the end of the session. He has helped me build strength, endurance, flexibility and stability. I would recommend Ross to anyone because of his expertise in assessing someone’s capabilities and supporting their physical goals.
I've known Ross (as a colleague and friend) for over a decade... And met him, after approaching him, due to his incredible caring nature, professionalism, and knowledge, to come work with me. None of the Personal Trainers that I'd spoken with came close to what Ross was bringing to the table.
My clients adored him, loved his compassion, how dedicated he was to ensuring they performed their programs safely and correctly... His amazing experience and skills in psychology. While also taking into mind any medical or physical challenges they were experiencing. We've continued our friendship over the years... And I can tell you, hands down, his thirst for being the best he can be, and helping his clients also be all they can be... Is incredibly inspiring.
I’ve been working with Ross for about 13 years. He is on top of his game! He challenges me at each workout. I have MS so I do have my own physical limitations. Ross fills my workout with exercises that challenge areas I need help with like strength, balance and stamina. He’s terrific. You should give him your business!
I first found out about Ross Harrison while searching on line for a personal trainer. I had a big birthday lurking in my future, and was starting to think that maybe I needed a little bit of help. So I contacted Ross.
I must admit that I went to my first appointment with some reservations. My experience with personal trainers in the past had not been good. They were all more interested in selling me a big package, selling supplements, or just telling me to get on a tread mill, and run for a half hour. Ross was nothing like this.
During our first appointment he asked about my diet, exercise, if I had any previous conditions that would affect my working out, and what my goals were. After we were finished with that he had me to some exercises. He was getting an idea of just what I was capable of.
After about 4 months of working with Ross I decided to move to Denver. I let Ross know, and let him know that the condo that I was moving into had a large work our facility on-site. We managed to get pictures of the equipment, and Ross said that he would design a work out program for me so I could continue in Denver.
I figured that he would just tell me a few exercises, and that would be it. After all I was moving, and would no longer be paying him, what more could I expect? I was shocked when on the next visit when he handed me 9 type written pages, where he explained each machine that my new gym would offer.
I guess the point is that Ross cares. He really is there to help you, and not there to either sell you something or to make you feel like you are not worthy of having a shot at getting in shape.
I would strongly recommend Ross to anyone that is looking for a personal trainer. Ross knows what he is talking about. Is fun to hang out with, and the results are terrific.
Sincerely, Rick Steadman, Austin TX
